Another new year has unfolded as I tuck away the previous year’s memories into the recesses of my mind. Of places travelled in 2023 and experiences had, of laughter and travails – all in equal measure. And then it strikes, how long would these memories last, till the mind begins to fall apart, slowly yet steadily? I am nowhere a spring chicken (though they say 40s are the new 30s), and I have difficulty remembering even the most mundane of things. Yet, I want to hold on to my reminiscences, each of them too precious to let go.

Maybe, I should pen down the things that I remember now, and when the cobwebs start appearing, I can always look back at these experiences and be satiated over a life lived to the full.

So, that’s the plan for this new year.

To you, whoever stumbled upon this blog, I wish you a very happy new year. Let’s make more memories then, shall we?
